Festival of Books 2012

USC Book Drive 2012

“Oh, magic hour, when a child first knows she can read printed words!”
A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, 1943

This year, in conjunction with the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, the University of Southern California is collecting new and gently used books to be distributed to local schoolchildren through the USC Family of Schools program. Last year’s record-breaking donations brought in close to 4,000 books to children in neighboring schools.

Donate a book online through the USC Bookstore

Books donated online will be delivered directly to the Book Drive coordinators.

In-person Drop-offs: Donations may be brought to drop-off locations at the University Park Campus (all public entry gates, the USC Bookstores, and Judge Widney Alumni House) and Health Science campus (Biggy Street entrance.)

Help spread the word!  Download the 2012 Book Drive flyer and distribute in your office mailboxes, or post in your workplace or residence hall.
